So, he spends 0.31 runs per over. This is the second best economy rate by a bowler who has bowled at least 15 overs in a complete Test innings. In other words, Seals' bowling performance in this innings ranks second in the list of worst bowlers in a Test innings after Bapu Nadkarni.
Apart from Sills, only Umesh Yadav has bowled at least 15 overs in a Test innings since 2000 and bowled less than 0.50 runs per over. In the 2015 Delhi Test against South Africa, Umesh's economy rate was 0.42.
Cheap all-out Bangladesh in the first innings
Bangladesh were all out for just 164 runs in the first innings of the Kingston Test due to Seals' brilliant bowling. Opener Sadman Islam scored a half-century. He scored 64 runs off 137 balls. Hit 5 fours and 1 six. Besides, Shahadat Hossain scored 22, Mehdi Hasan Miraj 36 and Taijul Islam scored 16 runs. None of the others could reach double-digit runs. Bangladesh's first innings lasted 71.5 overs.
Apart from Seals' 4 wickets, Shamar Joseph took 3 wickets for 49 runs in the first innings for West Indies. Kemar Roach took 2 wickets for 45 runs. Alzari Joseph took 1 wicket for 29 runs.
